Ranger boys fall to Gobblers in 2OT
The Ranger boys' basketball team fell on the road at Aitkon on Friday night 86-83, despite some late game heroics by Frankie Meyer.

Meyer hit game-tying three pointers at the end of regulation and the end of the first overtime, to keep C-I in the ball game. Meyer hit three three-pointers on the night for 9 of his 11 points. Unfortunately, the Rangers came up just short in the end.

Carsen Turk led the way with 29 points on the night. Jordan Oehrlein chipped in 21 points. Dietrich Winegarner notched another double-double with 19 points and 14 rebounds.

The loss drops the team's record to 5-5 on the season. Next up, C-I travels to Staples on Tuesday night for a Mid State Conference matchup.
